HCA Nurse Residency

TriStar StoneCrest offers a year-round nurse residency in Smyrna, backed by its parent company, HCA Healthcare. With the scale and resources available through HCA, new nurses can hone clinical skills and take advantage of professional development opportunities. HCA TriStar Division’s nurse residency combines paired mentorship with a TriStar StoneCrest nurses, classroom education and simulation training.

Nurse Practice Council and Nursing Shared Governance

TriStar StoneCrest nurses have a voice in decisions impacting patient care through professional practice councils. Hospital-based committees have representation across multiple nursing specialties and units, providing collective knowledge and influence in patient care.

Director Development Program

TriStar StoneCrest helps prepare OR and ER nurse leaders to transition to nurse director positions. The director development program opens the door for professional mentorship and networking opportunities throughout HCA Healthcare.

CNO Development Program

HCA Healthcare also offers a one year executive development program to transition from nursing director to chief nursing officer. While enrolled in the CNO program, the TriStar StoneCrest nurse will become an associate chief nursing officer on the administrative team.
