The DAISY Award
Together, with hospitals all over the world, TriStar StoneCrest participates in The DAISY Award program as a way to say thank you to its nurses for creating an environment where compassionate, personalized care thrives.
Every quarter, TriStar StoneCrest recognizes one nurse for demonstrating clinical expertise and mentorship.
The DAISY Award was founded in 1999 after J. Patrick Barnes passed away due to autoimmune disease complications. During his hospitalization, his family was grateful for the nurses that tirelessly cared for their son, so they created a foundation as a way to express appreciation.
HCA Excellence in Nursing
TriStar StoneCrest, through HCA Healthcare’s Awards of Distinction program, rewards nurses that live out the company mission by providing the highest level of healthcare in Rutherford County.
TriStar StoneCrest recognizes two nurses annually for providing compassionate care and mentoring their nursing colleagues.
Compassionate Care Award
TriStar StoneCrest’s Compassionate Care Award recipients serve all those they encounter with kindness and empathy.
Professional Mentoring Award
Professional Mentoring Award recipients coach their peers, pursue growth opportunities and demonstrate that they’re a natural-born leader. They provide advice from experiences they’ve gone through and encourage their coworkers to participate in professional development opportunities.
