Smyrna, TN - TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, the Town of Smyrna, and the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Center are hosting the first Smyrna Kid's Safety Day. This free family-friendly community event will be held on Saturday, May 20.

Smyrna Kid's Safety Day is a day of fun and features important safety education for kids of all ages.

"TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, the Town of Smyrna, and the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Center have joined forces to help protect the children of our community through our first Smyrna, Kid's Safety Day," said Lou Caputo, CEO of TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center. "We look forward to increasing awareness of child safety issues through this hands-on educational day."

Activities will include bike obstacle course, safe animal encounters, rock wall climbing, arts and crafts, dangerous driving simulations, hunting safety, seatbelt safety, pool safety, fire safety, gun safety, wellness education, and much more.

Smyrna Kid's Safety Day will be held on Saturday, May 20 from 9 AM - 1:00 PM at the Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center.

The Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center is located at 100 Sam Ridley Parkway in Smyrna. Kids are encouraged to bring their bikes to ride the safety bike course.
